For our fresh farm raised venison fresh flown in from New Zealand the standards are strict: the animals must be between 18 to 30 months of age to guarantee proper size and texture, and must be free-ranged and raised without antibiotics or growth stimulants. Venison is extremely lean, low in fat and cholesterol, and yet very high in protein. The tenderloins are great when cooked quickly over high heat. Net Weight: 4.5 lbs.
