Reader Reviews If I was just reviewing the product, this would be a five star plus review. I have never tasted a better sausage of any kind. The venison sausage was perfectly spiced. The spices never overwhelmed the meat but enhanced the flavor of the sausage perfectly. The problem was I ordered it a week before Christmas, paid for priority shipping and was told it would arrive on December 23. It didn't. Twice I was told it was shipped when it wasn't. It finally showed up three weeks late in an USPS priority envelope with no packing materials of any kind. Nowhere on the envelope was it marked food, fragile or needs refrigeration. When it arrived, I was gone on vacation so it sat out unrefrigerated for a week. The venison sausage survived. The elk sausage did not. Available from Amazon Price: $12.00 Updated on 6-18-2008.
