This terrific unfiltered extra virgin oil is made using olives that populate the area around Lake Como (yes, there are olives trees there). The olives are hand-picked, stone ground and cold pressed. These are the northernmost olives grown and pressed in Italy. </p><p>This oil has an intensely grassy aroma and a bright yellow color; it is mild and full with a lingering peppery bite that creeps up at the back of the throat.
