Laudemio Baggiolino Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2007 The term "Laudemio" refers to the cultivation carried out in Italy in ancient times, since this name meant the tribute to the Lord, which of course was the best part of the product. The same name was given to the Corsorzio degli Olivicoltori della Toscana Centrale (Central Tuscany Olive Growers' Consortium), which was established at the end of 1990. The joining members called themselves "Gli Olivanti", an ancient term for "olive growers", became a select group of producers who follow strict growing and producing policies to ensure the excellence of their oils. Nestling in the green hills of Romola, only a few kilometres away from Florence, Fattoria di Baggiolino, a member of the "Gli Olivanti", has long been renowned for its 100% first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. |
