Homemade Dressings, Herb Filled Salad Dressing Mix for Olive or Salad Oils, Italian... This is a remarkably versatile product. The description is for a salad dressing but in reality it is good for so much more. <br /> <br />Things I have tried this with: <br />Salad Dressing - Great Success <br />Pasta Salad (Dry sprinkle) - Great Success (Especially with Zucchini and Squash!) <br />On Chicken - Tastes really good <br />As a Dip for bread with Olive Oil - Tasty <br /> <br />Overall this is a very tasty and versatile seasoning. It goes the furthest when used as a salad dressing (64 servings) but dry it is good and goes pretty par as well. The only negative I had was the strength of the flavors could have been a bit stronger. I found my self adding a bit of fresh parsley or red pepper to a few things to add a stronger flavor. <br /> <br />At the price an excellent value and very good product. 4 stars. Reader Reviews This is the easiest thing to use in the kitchen... besides a spatula. Just mix it with oil and pour on salads, use as a marinade for chicken or simply dip bread into it. The flavors are great and my kids loved making it themselves (or at least assisting me). I gave some to my friend and she agreed. She even shook it on a baked potato with butter! Yummy! |
